Dutco Tennant LLC will showcase Jauda Koks impregnated wooden poles at Middle East Energy 2026, running 1-3 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The exhibition brings together utilities, EPC contractors, consultants, engineers, infrastructure developers and procurement professionals from across the global power and energy sector, and the Dutco Tennant LLC stall will focus on durable, treated timber solutions for overhead electricity and telecommunication infrastructure.

Made from selected Scots Pine, the poles benefit from slow northern growth that produces dense, structurally strong timber, well suited to the demands of outdoor infrastructure. Each pole goes through a two-stage peeling process to remove bark and produce a smooth surface, followed by moisture-controlled drying to around 25-28% before treatment. The poles are then pressure impregnated using the full-cell Bethell method in specialised autoclaves, improving resistance to decay, insects and microorganisms for reliable long-term outdoor performance.

Available in lengths from 7 to 16 metres, with 9- to 12-metre poles commonly required for electric distribution, the poles suit a wide range of applications, including low- and medium-voltage distribution lines, rural electrification networks, overhead service connections, transformer support structures, and replacement of damaged or ageing poles. Their relatively light weight simplifies transport and handling compared with alternative pole materials, they can be drilled and cut for project-specific fittings, and their natural insulating properties add further value for utility and telecom networks alike.
